Travel Roundup: Southwest to Hawaii announcement? New BofA travel card, and more!

Welcome to the One Stop Travel Roundup from Points Miles and More. Your briefing on important happenings in the world of travel, airline miles, hotel points and more.

There is a very plausible rumor that Southwest may finally be announcing routes from the continental US to Hawaii this week. This would be welcome competition to current routes and hopefully there would be a route from my hometown of Phoenix!

Bank of America is out with their new “Premium” travel credit card. More competition is always great but unfortunately this card does not stack up to the competition. We’d suggest a 2% cash back card or a more premium travel card such as the Chase Sapphire Reserve instead.

There are countless ways to earn points and miles to redeem for travel. One way is the United MileagePlus X app. Miles to Memories has a straightforward and easy to understand overview of the app this week, definitely take a look!

In today’s flight deal of the day, fly from Dallas to Singapore on United for $592.
