Amex Offer: 30% off Amazon Kindle Unlimited

American Express is out with a new promo for all American Express cardholders, and listed in Amex Offers, for 30% off Amazon Kindle Unlimited for a year. This promo isn’t quite as good as the 40% off that Amazon offered during Prime Day unfortunately, but still excellent!

If you’re not familiar with AmEx Offers: these are very lucrative offers that come with the majority of American Express cards for either money savings or bonus American Express points. For a complete guide to AmEx Offers I would suggest checking out Frequent Miler’s excellent guide for how to maximize the offers.

What is Amazon Kindle Unlimited?

For those not familiar with Amazon Kindle Unlimited it includes the following:

  • Access to 1 million books
  • Unlimited audiobooks
  • Read on any device with the Kindle app
  • Includes the 500 or so public domain titles
  • Access to many magazines
  • Popular books available include Harry Potter series, The Handmaid’s Tale, 1984, Hunger Games series, and plenty more

You can also sign up for a 30 day free trial here. Keep in mind the 30 day trial will start charging you $9.99/month after the first 30 days. So make sure to cancel and sign up for the American Express offer if you are interested in keeping it.

30% off Amazon Kindle Unlimited Amex Offer

This offer is available for any American Express cardholder when using the promo code AMEXSAVE and adding the offer to your cart through this link.

What is neat about this offer is that if you already have Amazon Kindle Unlimited automatically renewing you can still use this offer, be charged for the year, and automatic renewal will resume at the end of 12 months. Do keep in mind it is 30% off for purchasing for the entire year meaning your total, as depicted on the offer page, is $83.92 plus tax for 12 months.

Bottom Line

If you already have Amazon Kindle Unlimited it’s definitely worth taking advantage of this offer. Or, you could wait for the next Prime Day and see if there is another 40% offer. However, there is no guarantee of that happening. If you don’t already have Amazon Kindle Unlimited it may be worth checking out!
