Don’t forget – the SPG and Total Rewards partnership ended 12/31/16!

Going to Vegas got much more fun for those interested in earning hotel points a few years ago. That’s when Hyatt’s partnership with Mlife and Starwood Preferred Guest’s partnership with Caesar’s Total Rewards started. The opportunity to match status, earn points, and more was very lucrative. Unfortunately as of December 31, 2016 the SPG Total Rewards partnership ended  with very little notice. On December 23, 2016 I received the below email:

SPG Total Rewards Partnership

This has been posted about already by other bloggers but is worth a re-post for those who have gotten used to taking advantage of the perks of this partnership. Luckily there is a Westin that Ben just reviewed that has a great location and rates. It may be considered “off-Strip” but actually is much closer to many of the main Strip sites than hotels such as Mandalay Bay or Luxor.

All is definitely not lost because the Hyatt/Mlife partnership is extremely lucrative and something I’ll be posting on soon. Vegas is such a popular destination and there are some awesome tips and tricks out there to share!
